Mastersoft Chess for Apple devices currently offers up to 150 playing levels. The app continually rates your play, adapts the challenge and calculates an ELO-style rating, so beginners can start at a manageable level while stronger players can keep increasing the difficulty.
The optional Chess Ginkgo upgrade is the defining feature of this edition. The current App Store listing identifies Ginkgo as the 2026 ICGA World Champion chess software and describes a playing range from about ELO 600 up to extremely high engine strength.
